The Cast Of Scary Movie What They Look Like From The Movie And Now
The early 2000's were rampant with spoof teen movies. But none did better than Scary Movie. It was promoted as a horror, slasher parody of the hit movies, Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, but with an additional mix of The Sixth Sense, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The Usual Suspects, The Matrix, The Blair Witch Project and more. With it's over the top humor and exaggerated situations, no one expected Scary Movie to do as well as it did including some of its stars. But the movie which was filmed on a $19 million dollar budget went on to make $278 million worldwide and four sequels. The entire five-movie franchise made almost $900 million between 2000 and 2003.
Scary Movie might have had mixed reviews with critics when it made its debut on July 7, 2000, but it made stars out of Anna Faris and Regina Hall, whose star power grew exponentially after the release of the film. And other movies like 2001's Not Another Teen Movie tried to follow Scary Movie parody formula, but it couldn't conjure up quite the same numbers at the box office, although they did ok.
Check out what your favorite Scary Movie stars look like now!
