The reference reports, "Miley has come up with all sorts of different wedding plans. She is always creative and thinking of new ideas that will make her experience different, but recently decided she would make it simple. Scarlett's dress was by Marchesa, and if that doesn't say much to you, it's the fashion line that Harvey Weinstein's, now, ex-wife, co-runs, according to W Magazine. Scarlett told Us Weekly, "I wore Marchesa because their clothes make women feel confident and beautiful and it is my pleasure to support a brand created by two incredibly talented and important female designers." Us also reported that the brand, although generally a big name for celebrity red-carpet looks hasn't been worn as frequently following the allegations about Weinstein. Scarlett didn't mention the allegations in her statement but rather focused on the brand's ability to make women feel confident, which we think is a statement in and of itself. We're all about women feeling confident and beautiful, and are wondering if this means a brand revival for the previously shut out label. Was he taking screenshots of text messages? These are valid questions that we're all asking ourselves, while simultaneously admiring Kim's look. Kim wore this gorgeous gold dress with a sultry smoked out eye and sleek pulled back hair. The theme for the evening was heavenly bodies and Kim definitely delivered. Her dress highlighted her super thin waist and glittered in gold on the red-carpet. According to Refinery 29, Kim tweeted about West's absence, saying, "Love you babe wish you were here with meeeeee but you're only finishing up 5 albums." She finished off the tweet with a heart and fire emoji, but we're still left wondering what Kanye would have worn to the MET even if he is currently working on 5 albums - wait, what? He's writing a book on philosophy AND working on that much music?! Us Weekly reports that Kim also said, "[Kanye's] been taking some time off and really loving that."
