Since September last year the rumor mill has been going into overdrive about 20-year-old Kylie Jenner's pregnancy. In the past two years, she has been rumored pregnant a staggering four times, but this time, things are very different. She has refused to comment at all, when before she would laugh of the news, and she appears to have gone into hiding. All the signs are clearly pointing to a baby, but when will Kylie step back into the public eye and make the announcement to her fans?

There are a number of reasons why Kylie will want to keep hidden from the world during these precious months in her life; she has already faced scrutiny over her age and the short amount of time she's been dating the baby daddy. Anything Kylie does, there is almost always a backlash, but now, she's taking extra measures to not let the media or trolls ruin this new chapter in her life.

People magazine reported that they expect Kylie to take at least six months out of the spotlight - which will feel like years for her die-hard fans. 2018 will be far from the 'Year of Kylie' as she will slowly slip into the background, and these are the reasons why.

15 She Revealed How Much She WANTS To Disappear

Kylie's disappearing act comes as no big surprise as she has always hinted that she would leave the limelight once she started a family of her own. Last year, she told Elle magazine, "I would love to have a family and build a home with a farm in Malibu Canyon and just have my kids and throw away my phone. Just really, like, live my life and not do this anymore."

Also, during an episode of Life of Kylie, she revealed, "I really want to live on a farm and have chickens and raise animals and have a family." She is now on Instagram so rarely it's like she has already given up on the social media craze - the last time she updated her Instagram was on Christmas Day.

14 She Wants To Raise Her Own Family In Private

There's plenty of roaming space at Kylie's $12 million Hidden Hills mansion in California. The home boasts eight bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, a private pool, spa, massage room and 1.3 acres of surrounding outdoors. When Kylie hosted a baby shower at the home, she kept it low key with invites only going out to close friends and family.

One insider told The Sun, "Kim got the VIP treatment for her baby shower, it was naturally an out of this world, no expenses spared celeb packed event with Kim as the star of the show. Kylie's by contrast took place a day later and was much more low key." Although it is unclear if Travis Scott has moved in yet it's very much expected he'll become the man of house soon.

13 She's Learned From Past Relationship Mistakes

Talking about her split with Tyga, Kylie said, "There was absolutely not one thing wrong with me and T. He and I will always, always have a bond." Yet Tyga told a different story as he revealed on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club that the real reason they split was due to all the all the "outside influences." He said, "It was a lot of outside influences. For her, growing up how she grew up, image and perception is everything. You got a bunch of people pulling from you and you're still trying to develop as a woman." Adding, "When it was good, it was good. When it was bad, it was really bad.”

If Kylie's fame was too much for her last relationship then she will be desperate not to let the same thing happen with Travis Scott - especially as they have a family together.

In 2015, Kylie was the youngest high-earning celebrity on the Forbes rich list with a net worth of around $50 million. Since the launch of her own brand, Kylie Cosmetics, the business has made $420 million worldwide and is set to hit $1 billion by 2020.  So if Kylie wants to take a couple of years maternity leave and hand the brand over to her managers then she can.

Kylie also has quite the impressive property portfolio; she has her Hidden Hills, California, mansion alongside three other houses near her mother and her previous 'starter home' in Calabasas near Kourtney and Kim which she bought aged just 17-years-old. Sure, she might be a young mother but she's also a very rich one and really doesn't need to work another day in her life.

11 She Is Desperate To Get The "Old Kylie" Back

During her spin-off reality show Life of Kylie, she revealed that the happiness she gets from money and fame "lasts two seconds" and that it's not her "real happiness." She also revealed, "Kim always said this is what she's made for, and I respect that, but it's hard to do normal things when every single person knows who you are. I for sure didn't choose this life, but I'm not going to say that I'm totally innocent, because I am keeping up this lifestyle."

She added, "I feel like I've lost parts of myself. I'm putting up a version of myself to the world that isn't really me." Earlier in Keeping Up With The Kardashians, when Kylie first became known she appeared happier, always playing pranks and showing off her goofy side. Now it's all pouting and selfies - we can see why she feels like she's missing a big part of herself.

10 She Always Wanted To Be A Young Mom

Kylie revealed on her app that she keeps a list of names on her phone that she would give to her future children, so motherhood is clearly something she has been thinking about for quite some time. When she was with her ex-boyfriend, rapper Tyga, she had a cute bon with his 3-year-old son, King Cairo.

She told Paper magazine, "I don't want to start (having) a baby when I'm 30! I don't believe in after 30." All three of her older sisters didn't start their own families until they were in their early 30s but that was something that wouldn't appeal to Kylie. She added, "They all wanted to have kids before (30). Kim was like, 'I better have two kids before 30.' She always said that. I feel like 30 is too late."

9 She Wants Khloe To Have Her Moment

Kylie's pregnancy announcement would have overshadowed Khloe's big news so it's likely she decided to keep quiet so this could be her sister's moment. Not only is Khloe expecting but also Kim is having her third child with Kanye West via surrogate.

Kris Jenner really gave everything away when she said during a promotional video for the new Keeping Up With The Kardashians season, "I used to pray that one of you guys would have a baby. And now it's like a faucet that that we turned on and it won't turn off, so the fact that I have all these grandchildren - it's been the most amazing journey to watch your kids (have children). 8 Has She Already Given Birth?!

One of the craziest fan theories surrounding Kylie is that she's already given birth and that is was quite recently. In a video that appeared online showing Kylie rubbing what appeared to be her pregnancy bump that would have set her due date for around Christmas time. One fan commented, "A conspiracy: Kylie already had her baby and she too busy breastfeeding to take selfies."

This theory appeared to be confirmed by Cailtyn Jenner during an interview with Piers Morgan. When Piers asked Caitlyn how many grandchildren she has, she replied, "I've got 12 grandchildren." She should have said 11 - three from her daughter Cassandra, one from her son Burt, one from her son Brandon, two from Kim, three from Kourtney and one from Rob. So is the 12th grandchild Kylie's newborn? Seems likely.

Kylie Cosmetics really depends on the reality star turned makeup mogul to carry the brand. Her young audience, made up of mostly teenage girls, look to her for new product releases, product tutorials and news about new products. She has always celebrated her curves but now she's not enjoying the extra weight gain that comes with pregnancy. One source told Heat magazine, "She's never been a fan of the gym and could never keep up with Khloe and Kim's crazy workout regimes. She's shocked by the amount of weight she's gaining, as she'd always managed to remain quite slim without much effort."

Kylie certainly won't be in a hurry to get to the gym either as she never works out. Khloe revealed, "Kylie doesn't really work out. She did when Don (Khloe's personal trainer) was training us. Don does four quarters in each session and Kylie only stayed for one quarter."

5 People Hate Working With Her

Kylie is a nightmare to work with and that comes as no surprise. An insider revealed to Radar Online that whilst shooting Life of Kylie she just wouldn't show up, revealing, "It is like Kylie doesn't even care, she just ignores any schedule. Kylie just doesn't show up when she is needed, and no one knows that she's not coming."

Also, when she appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show, another source revealed, "In addition to refusing to use Ellen's hair and makeup team, Kylie also needed to have two dressing rooms - one for her and one for her squad." Adding, "Kylie also insisted that she have two VIP parking spots, because she did not want to walk from the parking structure to the studio, which is less than a block away." Sounds like a nightmare to us.

4 She Has Never Lived A Private Life Before

She told Allure magazine, "I can't remember what it's like not to be famous." Kylie has appeared on KUWTK when she was just 10-years-old and her mother has decided her entire career. Radar Online revealed, "Kris has always planned for Kylie to take over for Kim as her hottest daughter. She could tell she just had a look that she knew would make her famous."

Kendall always had the international modeling career that made her a success but Kylie's selling point was a different angle. She had a scandalous relationship with a much older boyfriend, then a very public feud with Blac Chyna and ongoing cosmetic surgery - Kylie's career has been all about selling every aspect of her private life. Now, she wants to have her own life back and enjoy time away from the public eye.

3 She Always Hated Her Fans Anyway

Kylie rarely does meet and greet events, as she hates her fans getting up close and personal. Last year, she could be seen pushing back a group of young selfie-seekers as she tried to enter a restaurant in West Hollywood and told them, "Please, don't touch me!" Kendall followed Kylie but she didn't mind stopping for pictures.

She also told her fans who claimed she was trying to make the skin tone of her wax figure darker than herself that they were "f****** idiots." In a Snapchat video, she said, "I'm not trying to make my wax figure darker than I am, you f****** idiots." She has also been blasted as "rude" and "condescending" by most of her fans so it's unlikely she will miss her large fan base.

2 Kim Wants Kylie Gone So She Can Be The Bigger Star

Kim has been on edge for a while about her youngest sister's fame as she always had her heart set on becoming the first Kardashian billionaire. Kylie is only 5 million followers away from taking over Kim on Instagram but since the baby news - she has cut back on activity. Kim knows if she can keep Kylie away from social media then she will start to become less relevant.

Celebrity gossip writer Perez Hilton told Closer magazine, "I ran into Kim at a party and I think she's finding it really hard that Kylie's the bigger star now. It's hilarious because Kylie has zero personality - people are just obsessed with her plastic surgery." Not holding back, he continued, "She's messing with her face because she's empty on the inside. I reckon she's also having a baby now for the same reason."

1 She Was "Not Supposed To Be Famous"

Kylie told Interview magazine that one day she would look back on her life and regret being famous. She said, "I feel like I'm going to be like, 'Damn, I wish I could've just been a kid and done normal teen- age stuff that my friends get to do." On another occasion she revealed, "I feel like I've had anxiety for too long. I feel too much, I care too much, I read too much. Some people are born for this life and some people aren't. I just know I'm not supposed to be famous."

Kylie has also observed that her older sisters are 'better' at fame and fashion than her whereas the spotlight just gives her anxiety. "I wake up every morning with the worst anxiety. I don't know why," she explained before adding, "I have, like, a problem. I wake up every morning at, like, seven or eight because I think that there's a bad story about me, and I have to check. My worst fear is waking up and finding something bad about me on the Internet."

Really if Kylie hates fame this much then it's no surprise she will want to disappear forever.
