Oftentimes, we hear all about Prince William and Prince Harry. We don't really hear a lot about the rest of the family. This is simply because the two princes have spent their lives in the spotlight. This is especially true with Prince William's growing family. Now, Prince Harry is gaining more attention as well, as he will be getting married shortly.

With weddings and family affairs on our minds, we are curious about the rest of the Royal Family. Who else is there? Who will be getting an invite to the wedding, and who won't? It's an eventful time for the Royal Family, and we have lots of questions. Well, one individual who usually gets left out of the news is Laura Lopes.

Laura was born to Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and Andrew Bowles Parker. Later on, the Duchess married Charles, the Prince of Wales. This is where Laura got her big entry into the Royal Family. It's also how she became the stepsister of William and Harry.

For much of her life, Laura has stayed pretty private. Most of us may not even realize that she exists unless we're particularly familiar with the Royal Family. Because of her secretive life, there's so much to learn about the princes' stepsister!

From what it looks like, Laura just isn't in the media. We don't see a lot of pictures of her. We don't know where she lives or what she's doing.

This is the main reason that so many people don't even know about her. She's simply out of the spotlight at most times.

Though Laura has managed to keep herself out of the media, that doesn't mean she is hiding out in her home. She has been spotted in a variety of places. Some of this is for her work, which we will get into later. She also gets around to different events. Some of those events are with the Royal Family and others are just for her personally. Perhaps she just knows how to avoid the paparazzi when she needs to!

14 She Has A Large Family Of Her Own

Because we don't see very much about Laura, we know there is some information to uncover. She doesn't seem to be purposely hiding her family from the world, but it works out that way. We simply don't know a lot about her kids and husband because we don't know a lot about Laura herself.

Laura-formerly Laura Parker Bowles-married Harry Lopes in 2006. Their wedding is discussed later on. At the time, he was an accountant. He is also a graduate of Eton College and even modeled for Calvin Klein for some time.

After the two got hitched, they had three kids. Their oldest child is Eliza, and she is 10 years old. She was born about two years after the wedding. A year later, Laura gave birth to twins, Gus and Louis.

13 Seems Very Disconnected From Prince William And Harry

Though it may seem like Laura is disconnected from Prince William and Prince Harry, the opposite is true. When the Royal Family is seen with Laura, they all seem to get along great. Everybody looks like they're having a good time together. No major conflicts or arguments that we know of have been made public.

While we don't see everything that Laura does, the media is all over her stepbrothers. We surely would have caught any drama from the paparazzi following those two.

That being said, Laura does get together with her stepbrothers and the rest of the Royal Family on occasion. Most assume that she avoids some events simply to avoid the excessive media that the Royal Family faces. She is there for the most important events though, like weddings!

Religion can be a touchy topic for any family. There are certain traditions that go with a specific religion, and sometimes those can be a big deal! If a family member believes differently, there might be issues. This could even tear a family apart.

This is the case with the Royal Family as well. Luckily, it is not quite as big of a deal as it could be. This makes things a little bit easier on the family and probably cuts down on some of the drama that could potentially arise.

As a child, Laura was taught about the Roman Catholic religion. The problem is that it shares few similarities with the Church of England. There is a chance that this caused some problems a while ago, but everything seems to be clear now.

11 Her Connections To Her Brother

In addition to Laura's stepbrothers-William and Harry-she has another brother. Her brother is also the son of Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and Andrew Bowles Parker.

Tom Parker Bowles is three years older than Laura. He went to secondary school at Eton College. This is the same place that both William and Harry went to receive their educations.

After Eton College, he went on to Oxford University. He got married in 2005 and was married to Sara Buys for 12 years. The couple had two kids together before they split.

From what we've seen-and what the paparazzi have caught-the brother-sister duo seems to get along great! Tom is also close with his stepbrothers and the three appear to be good friends.

10 Wedding Bells

Because she might be considered royalty, the question of Laura's wedding arises. As most know, the Royal Family likes to do weddings big! This ended up being the case for Laura's wedding as well. It wasn't everything that we would expect a Royal Wedding to be, but it wasn't an average wedding either.

Laura and Harry Lopes' 2006 wedding took place in Wiltshire at a church. Following the ceremony, the guests celebrated at the Duchess of Cornwall's home.

The wedding hosted Prince Harry, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

This was prior to William and Kate's wedding, but the two were dating at the time of Laura's wedding. Laura wanted to keep things traditional, so she wore a Robinson Valentine bridal gown. This happened to be the same designer who made the Duchess' wedding dress.

9 Beauty And Brains

Some assume that the members of the Royal Family have no reason to get an education. They have made their way into the family by bloodline, and they already have a pretty good life laid out for them. Of course, nowadays, most of the Royal Family is well-educated.

This is true for Laura as well. She pursued an education and is actually quite smart. Growing up, she went to schools in the Wiltshire area. After that, she studied history at the Oxford Brookes University. She didn't stop there though! She picked up an internship at an art museum in Venice, Italy.

In addition to all of the hard work that went into her education, she is gorgeous! Laura is the perfect combination of beauty and brains. We have a feeling that her dedication and work have gotten her to the place she is today.

8 A Working Woman

Though Laura has some good connections to the Royal Family and could probably get by without working, she has a job. After her internship at the art museum, she went back to her home in the United Kingdom.

From there, she found a new position.

She worked as a manager of the Eleven Fine Art Gallery. This gallery is located in Southwest London.

At one point, she was also working at The Space Gallery, which is located in London's Belgravia.

Later, Laura worked at Tatler magazine as a motoring correspondent. Not much has been reported since that job with Tatler. This is likely because she has maintained a position with the same Eleven Fine Art Gallery in London. She has now moved up to the roles of co-founding partner and gallery director.

7 Is She Royalty?

Because she has so many ties to the Royal Family, most of us will assume that she is a part of the royalty. Her mother-Camilla-is the Duchess of Cornwall. Her stepfather-Charles-is the Prince of Wales.

These connections make her a part of the Royal Family, but she will not be receiving the crown at any point. She has definitely witnessed what goes on in the family though.

Regardless, her family is still close to the rest of the royalty. She could likely receive most of the perks that come along with being a royal, if she decided to. That would also include more attention from the media, which Laura has expressed she isn't a fan of. It seems like her royal connections are enough for her though!

6 Keeping Things Private

The biggest reason that we don't know a lot about Laura is that she lives a very private life. She tends to stay out of the eye of the media, leaving much yet to be discovered. When she is spotted, everything seems very low-key. She doesn't pose or make a big deal out of anything. She just goes along with her plans and tries to avoid the cameras.

Laura's wedding was probably one of the events that received the most attention-at least concerning her personal life. This could have had something to do with Kate Middleton and Prince William being there though.

Some of this privacy is likely Laura's own personal decision. There is a chance that some of it stems from her mother's attitudes about media as well though, which we'll dig into next.

5 Camilla's Control

While Laura herself is avoiding the spotlight-and doing a good job of it-somebody else might be playing a role here. Her mother Camilla has shown her why she should be staying out of the public eye, and it might be true currently as well.

When Prince Charles became a part of Camilla and Laura's life, the family was constantly being photographed. Anywhere they went, the paparazzi was keeping a close eye on them.

Prior to Camilla's marriage to Prince Charles, the family was able to go about their daily business without the media getting involved.

Though many people watched the Royal Wedding, they might not have realized who Laura was-if they even noticed her.

Someone who was likely more noticeable at the Royal Wedding is her daughter Eliza. At the time, Eliza was just three years old. She was a bridesmaid at the wedding. One of the most popular photos from Prince William and Kate's wedding is one where Prince Charles is holding Eliza near a balcony. It isn't well-known that that little one was Eliza though!

3 The Next Big Event

As the world prepares for the next Royal Wedding, we are starting to wonder if Laura and her family received an invitation. Six hundred people have been invited to the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Surely, they made room for the Lopes family on their guest list!

The main reason that there is even a question about whether or not Laura will be there is that of another family member who may not be invited.

The Royal Family might have left Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson off the guest list due to some prior drama. This doesn't have much to do with Laura herself, except for the fact that it's possible that family members will be left off the guest list.

2 Not As Forgotten As We Think

Some headlines and rumors have circulated saying that Laura is a forgotten sister. This may be the case for most of the world, but it doesn't seem like the Royal Family has ever let her slip their minds. She is still involved when she needs to be! Weddings are a good example of this, as she went to Prince William and Kate's wedding a few years ago. She has been spotted at a few different events with the Royal Family.

Though she isn't as well-known as the rest of the family, she is still present when it counts the most! This will likely be proven at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan, too. It seems like she has only been forgotten by the public, which might have been her plan with living such a private life.

1 The Sisters-In-Law

We have yet to see how Meghan Markle and Laura get along with each other. They could have met by now, and it's likely that they have. Not everything that Laura is involved in is made public, simply because of her preferences and avoidance of the media.

It seems like Kate Middleton and Laura are close though. At Prince William and Kate's wedding, Laura was even a bridesmaid. We haven't seen much from the two since, but that likely has more to do with Laura's view of the media than anything else.

It's unclear as to whether or not Laura will have an important role at Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding. We are also still unsure if she will even be there. At least she has a good friendship with Kate!
