Way back in 2006, Kris Jenner approached her friend Ryan Seacrest about doing a show based on her family, she told him that when it comes to drama her children are "naturals." Seacrest remembers, "(Kris) was interested in doing a television show and this was at the time that The Osbournes was popular. We had no idea it would become the monster pop culture business that it is." Keeping Up With The Kardashians aired and fourteen seasons later the contract between E! and the Kardashian-Jenner family is worth $100 million for every four years, according to Page Six.

Nearly eleven years on air can transform anyone but in this case, we have watched an entire family grow up. They have had babies, established careers, got married, suffered breakups, broke down over divorce, constantly rowed, kissed and made up, and  - above all - made a ton of money along the way. They are believed to be worth around $450 million and that figure is only rising every year.

Now, it's time to take a trip down memory lane and compare this to modern day. These following pictures prove that it really is hard to keep up with the Kardashians as things have been changing quicker than Kylie's hair color.

15 Kim Went From Paris Hilton's Wardrobe Cleaner To Multi-Millionaire Phenomenon

Kim has come a long way since her main priority was making sure socialite, heiress and reality star Paris Hilton's wardrobe was organized. A short clip of a young Kim where she introduces herself made it's way online and she said, "I go to my clients' homes and I help them clean out their closets." Then as if to the predict the future, she adds, "I really want to do some kind of show that shows my life and what I do and my closet stuff. All of that would be really fun for me."

Fast forward a couple of years and one private tape leak later - Keeping Up With The Kardashians was born. Now Kim can update her own resume with reality television star, retail store owner, app-builder and tech entrepreneur, emoji designer, cosmetic mogul, hard-working mother of three and devoted wife of Kanye West. Last year, when Forbes listed the world's highest-paid celebrities, she came in at number 47 with $45.5 million earned that year alone.

14 Kourtney Is Only Getting Sultrier With Age

The oldest of the Kardashian tribe can say she was the first reality television star and she wouldn't be lying as Kourtney appeared on Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive, raising money for charity before KUWTK was even a thing. Kourtney spent a long time in Kim's glamorous shadow but when she fell pregnant, it was her time to be the most talked about sibling on the show.

Kourtney fell pregnant during the filming of the spin-off show, Kourtney and Khloe Take New Miami when she had already split from Scott Disick following a turbulent two years. She then confirmed that if people wanted to find out who the father of her baby was they would "have to wait to watch the show". Classy.

She has since made her millions from endorsing products like SugarBearHair vitamins, Flat Tummy Tea, skin care brand Manuka Doctor and Lipsy fashion. Fans have also noticed that over the years she's only become hotter and hotter - kicking Scott to the curb for good and instead shacking up with a younger model, 24-year-old Younes Bendjima.

13 Khloe Went From The "Ugly Sister" To A Blonde Bombshell

Khloe is made of strong stuff - well, she's had to be considering all the insults and heartbreak she's endured over the years. Since the beginning of KUWTK, she has had to contend with internet trolls who branded her the "ugly sister." During an interview with Love magazine, she said, "I'm the ugly sister. I'm the fat one. I'm the transvestite. I have had those mean things said about me at least twice a day for the last five years. It's horrible, you know? But I can brush that stuff off. I got used to it."

Then came her car crash seven-year marriage to Lamar Odom which ended in 2016 after he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch in Nevada. Khloe turned her life around and worked hard at the gym to gain her "revenge body." She is now super hot, platinum blonde and happier than ever after announcing that she is expecting her first child with basketball star Tristan Thompson. Finally, things are on the up for Khloe. 

12 Rob Transformed From Adorable Cutie To Chubby Father

Rob went from being a playboy who loved to party and was always surrounded by a string of ladies, to a recluse who refused to be on camera for much of the show. Rob was caught up in a downward spiral with his eating habits - he gained 100 pounds in just one year and was too insecure to leave the house which led him to eat even more. He skipped many family vacations and once tweeted in his absence: "No one will ever understand how much it hurts."

In 2015, he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Khloe revealed, "It's sad because he's only wasting his life more and more, but he has to figure it out for himself and (hopefully the diagnosis will) shake him up a little bit, and jump-start his health journey." One year later, Rob fell for Blac Chyna who helped him to leave the house more - sure, it was for trips to nightclubs and strip joints but he was out the house all the same. Rob told People, "She got me through my darkest times. I wasn't happy in my own skin. I missed out on so many things."

His daughter Dream was born but things turned sour again as he split from Chyna who sued him for publishing intimate pictures online. The current court case is still ongoing.

11 Kris Went From Stay-At-Home Mom To Millionaire Momager

Kris Jenner has clearly been drinking from the fountain of youth as she appears to be aging backward. When she debuted her new blonde pixie cut on Instagram fans were quick to comment on her new look, as one wrote: "She got much more done than a new hairstyle… under the knife again??" and another added, "She tries way too hard to look young!" Those no denying that over the years she's slowly been morphing into her younger proteges.

Kris has basically been the backbone of the family since the show first aired and the driving force behind their multi-million dollar empire. The one-time stay-at-home Mom has faced a lot of criticism over her parenting and even her own sister called her out to In Touch magazine. Her sister Karen revealed, "You know what drives Kris? Power, power, power. And money. She's a workaholic, a hustler. It's about wanting power. 10 Bruce Jenner Changed More About Himself Than Any Other Family Member

When KUWTK first aired, one transition we never saw coming was Bruce Jenner becoming Caitlyn as she kept the secret for so long. The former Olympian kept the secret hidden for decades and finally came out as a woman in a 2015 Vanity Fair cover story. According to her tell-all book The Secrets of My Life, she hid behind a separate bank account for buying dresses and went shopping with a close female friend so it wouldn't look suspicious.

She would also take trips to Las Vegas, revealing, "As Bruce, I always liked going to Vegas, not for the gambling or the garishness but because it was the best place of all to dress up, the only locale where you could do whatever you wanted and no one would notice."

The Vanity Fair covered was a shock for her sons as she said, "I know that Burt (Jenner) and Brandon (Jenner) and Brody (Jenner) did not like the Vanity Fair cover, not only because they thought it was too risqué, but because I did not gauge how a son would feel seeing his father in a cream-colored bustier."

9 Scott Disick Went From Kourtney To Every Young Model He Could Find

Since the beginning of the show, Scott Disick has gone from Kourtney's boyfriend to her baby daddy and then to full-time playboy who spends most his time poolside with teenage models. Since his permanent split from Kourtney, the 34-year-old father-of-three has been romantically linked to 21-year-old Ella Ross, Christine Burke, 20, Bella Banos, 20, Lindsay Vrckovnikand (18), of course, 19-year-old wild child Bella Thorne.

8 Brody Jenner Has Cut All Ties With The Kardashians

Brody Jenner, the half-brother of Kendall and Kylie, was a regular fixture on KUWTK as his good looks, sense of humor and fame from The Hills series made him a popular star. Everything was chill between him, his step-mother Kris and step-siblings but something along the way took a pretty dark turn and he has since declared of the Kardashians: "They are not my f****ng family!"

In an earlier episode of KUWTK, Brody lashed out at Kris, "I don't think you've ever given two s**ts about the way (his brother) Brandon and I have grown up." He also wasn't in attendance at Kim and Kanye's wedding either. Who knows what caused Brody to put the Kardashians behind him - maybe Kris morphing his younger sister Kylie into a cosmetic surgeon's favorite client or how he was also second-best to the girls in the family… either way we can't see a reconciliation on the cards anytime soon.

7 Kylie Has Transformed So Much She Said She's Lost Herself

Being on camera since the age of 10 has ensured that Kylie has never had a proper childhood - something she deeply regrets now. The youngest of the sisters, she revealed on her spin-off show Life of Kylie that she's completely lost herself. Kylie explained, "I think I lost a lot of parts of myself. My funny side - when I was 14 I used to post all these funny videos all the time, just me being like, super weird and funny and myself. I feel like once I started getting a little bit bigger, then people really started to… everyone says mean things sometimes, it's just how social media is - it's a really mean, negative space."

Kendall was a goofy and awkward teenager and sure she's still goofy but she's thrown out the awkwardness in exchange for a models pout. Last year, Forbes magazine revealed that she was the highest paid supermodel in the world earning $15 million in that year alone - the first time in 15 years that Gisele Bundchen had not topped the earner's list. Her huge salary came from walking for Alexander Wang, Fendi, Chanel, Marc Jacobs and others alongside being the face of Estee Lauder, Adidas and Calvin Klein.

Although she has had huge success, she swears that modeling did not come easy for her just because she has a famous name. She told Harper's Bazaar, "A lot of people are like, 'Oh, it's so much easier now because you have Instagram. You don't even need an agency anymore.' But that's just not true. I still had to go to all the castings, I still had to go meet all the photographers, I still had to do all of that to get to where I am now." She added, "It's hard not to get eaten alive by all the negativity."

5 Kanye West Has Changed A Lot But Still Thinks The Show Is "Cheap"

Kanye West appeared in earlier episodes of KUWTK as a close friend of Kim, offering her life advice and inviting her along to his live shows - basically, he's always had a huge crush on her. However, he did vow he wouldn't regularly appear on the show as his management advised this would make him look "cheap". Radar Online reported, "He has made several brief appearances on the Kardashian reality shows, but wants nothing to do with future filming. Kanye's team believes it's bad for his image and brand to appear on a reality show because it makes him look cheap."

Another reason he doesn't appear on the show is that he's a perfectionist and has no control over the shots. He told Vanity Fair, "I don't really do her show just because I don't particularly like the way the producers shoot some of the shots. I'm very meticulous to that, right? I like to get a different (cameraman) or whatever." Kanye has put on many pounds the past year so maybe he wants control over the shots so they can make him look several pounds lighter.

4 Blac Chyna Went From Kim's Friend To Frenemy (And Rob's Baby Mama)

Kim's BFF turned villain turned Kardashian baby mama is Blac Chyna and nobody could have ever predicted just how much drama she was going to bring into their lives. In the beginning, everything looked great for Chyna - she was engaged to rapper Tyga and they had a son together. Then not long after they attended Kim and Kanye's wedding in Italy, Chyna was dumped and Tyga shacked up with 17-year-old Kylie.

Then the Instagram shade between Kylie and Chyna had begun when Chyna shared text messages from Tyga asking to "spend a lil time" with his baby mama. Kylie fired back with OTT shots of the jewelry and cars Tyga had allegedly bought her (those receipts still need authorizing if he could afford it all).

3 North West's Wardrobe Is Filled With Designer Clothes Worth $1 Million

In 2013, when North West was just a newborn, her mother Kim was so paranoid that pictures would be leaked to the media online through her 'friends' that she sent out fake shots to catch anyone out. Her suspicions were right as the fake pics made their way to the TMZ news desk and Kim was able to pin down exactly who had leaked it - then probably went after their heads. The rights to the first photo of Nori was left to Kris who had just launched her own talk show, who needed the publicity before it was taken off air after just a few episodes.

Now Nori is one of the most fashionable tots on the planet with a wardrobe that boasts around $1 million worth of designer threads including Hermès handbags and her own jewel-encrusted Balmain dress. Kim told Hello magazine, "She's really particular about what she likes to wear, she's such a girlie girl. Every day she wakes up and says 'shoes'. 2 Jonathan Cheban Is Legally Changing His Name To 'Foodgod'

Jonathan Cheban has successfully morphed from high school geek into the ultimate BFF turned PR guru. The son of a real-estate agent mother and a diamond-dealer father moved from the USSR as a child and has been by Kim's side ever since. Kim gave him full credit for coaching her on fame, as she revealed, "'Every time I'd go to the gym or go eat, every paparazzi would ask me questions and I would be like: 'Hey guys!' Like, I so wanted the attention," she wrote on her website. "Jonathan was like, 'This has got to stop. Do you think Victoria Beckham sits and does all these interviews?' (He said) 'Do you think everyone else has smiles on their faces? You are too happy, you are smiling way too much. Put your sunglasses on. You need a whole makeover and you need to stop talking and stop smiling."

Now he's finding his own famous path and he is now arranging a legal name change. He told the New York Post, "Everyone calls me Foodgod. Scream it in the streets and run up to me in restaurants, and I want people calling me Foodgod when they write about me - not Jonathan or "BFF.""Foodgod' it is.

1 Lamar Odom Suffered Badly From The "Kardashian Curse"

So as legend has it - there is a curse that affects the men who get too close to the Kardashian family. Khloe met Lamar in 2009 when he still played for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA and after just one month of dating, they tied the knot. Their marriage was a turbulent one, they struggled to conceive a child together and Lamar struggled with substance and commitment issues.

Six years later, Lamar was found unconscious at the Love Ranch in Nevada and Khloe decided divorce was the only way out of their nightmare. He later told US Weekly that there was "probably a curse" whilst also admitting that with KUWTK fame came a lot of women throwing themselves at him.
