When some people say, bitterly, that celebrities all look the same, we politely tend to disagree. Celebrities offer a wide variety of sizes, styles, and personalities, and in a way represent all the different kinds of people that are out there. At least, that's what we're seeing more and more nowadays.

On the flip side of that is the understanding that one actor can't play all the different parts they might be suitable for. Filming takes a long, long time, and celebrities can only do so much! We need celebs who look similar to each other because of all the different parts that are out there. This inevitably ends up with a little bit of confusion on our end, however.

How many of us have watched a movie and gone “Oh, I didn't know so-and-so was in this!” only to realize that it was not so-and-so at all. We've gone through and found 10 of the most famous and/or interesting doppelganger celebrities. These are the folks that we personally confuse all the time, as well as the ones that might have surprised us a little bit!

20 Isla Fisher Is Adorable, But So Is Amy Adams

It's something about redheads, isn't it? Isla Fisher is one of the funniest redheads out there, making it difficult to come to terms with the fact that a lot of times we confuse her for Amy Adams. Why? Maybe it's the fact that they're both adorable.

They have these cheeky, mischievous smiles that make it so it looks like they're always thinking of some way to prank us.

Amy Adams, however, has taken on more of a dramatic role in Sharp Objects, what we've heard to be her newest acting job. Hopefully we see Isla Fisher in something else too. That way we'll truly be able to appreciate her work without confusing her for Amy Adams.

Taking the producing world by storm is Jessica Chastain. This stunning redhead has a long list of successes on her resume, and we're sure that everyone has seen her perform at least once. The actor-turned-producer is a passionate advocate of equality and human rights, as the Hollywood Reporter revealed in their interview with her. However, she's not unique in her look.

Bryce Dallas Howard has actually caught our eye as a Jessica Chastain look-alike several times now.

The fact that they're both accomplished actors doesn't help us with telling them apart either! Oh well; we're sure that neither would be insulted by the comparison, especially when they're both such incredible women.

Leighton Meester could almost be another Blake Lively doppelganger, but we found someone even closer. While Meester and Lively are both beautifully blonde, their face shapes are entirely different. Lively's nose is more straight, while Meester has more of an upturn at the end. It's the nose that knows why we chose Minka as Meester's doppelganger; their face shapes are incredibly similar, right down to that adorable little nose. Now, we might not be able to call them truly identical due to their differences in hair color. If Meester ever decided to go brunette, however, they could definitely be cast as identical twins.

It's very rare that we find similar celebrities with exactly the same eye color too! While Krysten Ritter, also known as Jessica Jones for any other fans out there, might have a slightly different style than Anne Hathaway, it's hard to ignore the similarities.
