There are also those celebrities who chose to wait because they were afraid of marriage, or they just didn't believe in it, not until the right person came along and changed their minds. And others had no choice but to wait until the laws changed in their favor. Adams knew that Le Gallo was the one for her, but she chose to wait, and she discussed this with E! News in 2017, simply explaining that she avoided getting married because she doesn't like to be the center of attention.
She said, "I'm not the kind of person. I avoided getting married for a really long time because I don't like people looking at me."
