17 Pics Of The Most Good-Looking Royal Family Members You Never Knew Existed
Yes, the sad unfortunate news came recently when we found out that Prince Harry is engaged to Meghan Markle and officially off the market for good. We have all dreamt about becoming princesses since we were brainwashed by old Disney cartoon movies, but fear not! It is still not too late. Though we often hear about the British Royal Family from across the pond, there are still some gorgeous royal family members from around the world that we haven't even heard about. These men come from the most elitist bloodlines and probably wouldn't even give us a second look even if we tried, but hey… we can still dream can't we?
These men grew up in palaces while we watched Cinderella put on that glass slipper and transform into a princess to be married happily ever after. Even though we still have assumptions that we will marry "our" real life prince who works a 9-to-5 and drives a Chevy Camaro, there is still always going to be that fantasy in the back of our minds. We hear that song in a melodic, subconscious lullaby that goes "someday my prince will come" over and over. Behold, here are the steamiest pics of good looking royal family members that you never knew existed.
17 Prince Carl Philip of Sweden - The James Bond of Royalty
Ok, so how have we not heard of this Swedish prince? Prince Carl of Sweden doesn't get nearly enough limelight as he deserves compared to Prince William and Prince Harry. He just might be the James Bond of all royals because he just has that slick style and dark features (for a Scandinavian). He is the second child of King Carl XVI and Queen Silvia and just like any other handsome prince, he will probably inherit the throne. He married Princess of Sweden Sofia Hellqvist in 2015 (yes, sadly we know) and share two sons: Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel. They met in 2009 and confirmed their relationship in 2010, (prior to that, he had a reputation for being a playboy). He is a race car driver and military man, having served in the Royal Swedish Navy. Being the artsy type, he studied graphic design in Rhode Island at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. Are you drooling yet?
16 Prince Don Lorenzo Borghese dei Principi of Italy - Italian Stallion on The Bachelor
Everyone loves an Italian man, but everyone especially loves an Italian prince. Coming from the prominent Borghese family in the city of Milan, Prince Lorenzo Borghese has a family name plastered all over Italy. He appeared on the ninth season of The Bachelor back in 2006, but sadly (for him and lucky for us) that did not work out. He is cosmetics heir as his paternal grandmother, Princess Mercella Borghese founded the Borghese cosmetics back in 1958. He is half Italian, half American which explains why he doesn't really have that accent (unfortunately). The 45-year-old businessman is the owner of the Royal Treatment pet spa and the president of Animal Aid USA. His Instagram is filled with him holding and petting puppies. There is no word on whether or not Prince Lorenzo Borghese is seeing anyone, but he does take a ton of heartwarming, adorable photos with fur babies.
15 Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark - Real Life Wolf of Wall Street
Get some excitement in the room, ladies because this is one of the most eligible single European princes that the world has to offer. 31-year-old Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark was born in London nineteen years after his family fled Greece into exile. He is the youngest son of Greece's last monarch, Constantine II before monarchy was abolished in Greece. His grandparents on each side of his family share Greek and Danish lineage, hence why he gets to be a royal family member of two countries rather than just one. He was educated at Georgetown University in New York where he now resides working on Wall Street as a financial analyst for a hedge fund in Midtown. Unlike common belief, he actually has to pull his weight and work a full-time job. He holds an ambivalent view on being a royal, but that doesn't make him any less of an eligible bachelor.
14 Prince Constantine-Alexios of Greece and Denmark - The Teen Heartthrob
Next we have the nephew of Prince Philippos, one of the youngest bachelors of the royal family by the name of Prince Constantine-Alexios of Greece and Denmark. He is also the godson of Prince William (fun fact). As of this year, he is a freshman at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. so that means he must be the talk among freshman girls in the dorms. His nickname is "Tino" and he is the eldest son of Princess Marie-Chantal and her husband Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece. His mother was so proud of him for attending Georgetown, that she wrote in a family pic on Instagram "Hooray Hoyas class of 2021". Ok so he might be somewhat of a momma's boy, but that also probably means that he knows how to treat his future princess like… well, a princess.
13 Prince Wenzeslaus of Liechtenstein - Yes, He's Still Single
Hailing from the tiniest European country of Liechtenstein, Prince Wenzeslaus might come from a tiny land but he has a huge fortune to back him up. From 2003-2006, he dated Victoria's Secret supermodel Adriana Lima and we all have to wonder, what the eff was she thinking? She could have been a princess and she is the one who must have blown it, not the other way around. Well lucky for us, he is one of the hottest royal singles that we can imagine. Prince Wence must be picky and not too many women can measure up to his standards because this 43-year-old member of the Liechtenstein royal family just can't seem to settle down. While his other royal counterparts are getting married, we can only hopefully assume that he is keeping his options open.
12 Prince Joachim of Belgium - The European Mutt
His formal title is Prince Joachim of Belgium, Archduke of Austra-Este. Royal families sure seem to cross borders from country to country, don't they? This young cherub man is the first member from female blood of the Belgian Royal Family with succession rights to the throne. He has quite the lineage having descended from a grand mix of Austrian, Belgian, Italian, French, Swedish, Danish, British, Portuguese, Spanish and German royal families with his grandparents and great-parents all being of royal blood. Just like every other upstanding prince, he joined the military via the Belgian Navy in 2010 and finished his education at the Nautical School in Brugge. After that, he was off to Italy to get his Bachelor's in International Economics, Management and Finance at the Bocconi University in Milan. If that is not a catch, then we don't know what is.
11 Prince Amedeo of Belgium, Archduke of Austria-Este - Look at Those Dimples
So the only reason that we are listing the elder brother of Prince Joachim after him on this list (which is totally out of order seeing as though he is closer to the throne than he is), is because he is not single anymore. If is wasn't for the fact that noble Prince Amedeo of Belgium and Archduke of Austria-Este is married do the Archduchess Elisabetta of Austria-Este, then of course we would put him higher on this list. Anyways, this member of the Belgian Royal Family is heir to the headship of the House of Austria-Este. Not that we really know what that means officially, but that sure sounds important. Just like many of these European royal families, he is starting his family at a young age already having a daughter who was born in 2016 at the age of 31.
10 Pierre Casiraghi of Hanover - Sowed His Wild Oats Already
Pierre Casiraghi is the grandson of American movie icon Grace Kelly and son of Princess Caroline of Monaco. If you are a descendent of Grace Kelly, there is no way that you can't be hot. During his university days at the Bucconi University in Milan, he was linked to a number of women including fashion models. In 2012, he was hospitalized for getting into a bar fight at a New York night club. He's grown up since then. Since 2008, he has been with Italian journalist and royal aristocrat Beatrice Borromeo and has been married to her since 2015. Sadly, this young 30-year-old prince is already off the market. They share a son, Stefano Ercole Carlo Casiraghi together who was born in February 2017 (wow, these Europeans sure do settle down early, don't they?) Like many other royal family members, he is a race car driver and was the winner in the Giraglia Rolex Cup in 2014.
9 Andrea Casiraghi of Hanover - Sadly Off the Market
Andrea Casiraghi is the older brother of Pierre Casiraghi and also the grandson of Grace Kelly (it seems like her attractive blonde genes skipped a generation). Unfortunately for us, the 33-year-old member of the Monaco Royal Family is already off the market and married to Colombian-Brazilian brewery heiress Tatiana Santo Domingo. *Sigh* Of course he would marry someone who he doesn't have to worry about being a gold-digger because she doesn't even need to touch his wealth. In any case, the couple are are expecting a third child. It is imperative that royal families keep procreating in order to have new successors on backup in case the first few don't work out. Andrea and Tatiana Casiraghi are already parents to four-year-old son Alexandre Andrea Stefano "Sacha" Casiraghi and two-year-old daughter India Casiraghi.
8 Prince Sébastien of Luxembourg - The Multilingual Rugby Stud
His Royal Highness Prince Sébastien of Luxembourg turned 25 in April and is the youngest son of Grande Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa so it might be safe to assume that there is no pressure for him to be married any time soon. He is the sixth in line after his older brother Prince Louis gave up the succession rights of himself and his children in 2006. He is an avid rugby player, swimmer, so it might be safe to say that he has a nice body. He also speaks French, German, Luxembourgish, English and Spanish fluently. Like many other royal family members of refined taste, he travels frequently and enjoys the arts. If you play your cards right, he might just whisk you away.
7 Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah of Jordan - The Super Young Humanitarian Prince
This young 23-year-old prince is Hussein bin Abdullah is the apparent heir to the throne after his father. He is the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania. He is currently serving in the military as a second lieutenant in the Jordanian Armed Forces. In 2016, he graduated with a degree in international history at Georgetown University (it seems like that is the popular spot for all young royals). This handsome royal of Jordan is an avid Instagram user and loves sports, especially soccer. He is even an adrenaline junkie who loves to sky dive like a paratrooper. What is more impressive is that in 2015, he became the youngest person to ever chair a meeting at the U.N. Security Council to debate on the role of youth in countering violent extremism and promoting peace. It looks like Prince Hussein bin Abdullah has a promising future ahead of him.
6 Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum of Dubai - The Dreamy Poet
Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum aka "Fazza" is the Crown Prince of Dubai and has a massive following on his Instagram. With over 5.1 million followers, the 34-year-old allows for his followers to get a good look at his billionaire lifestyle on a regular basis. Maybe is trying to lure some attractive women into his clutches to be a future princess? We can only hope. He is the second son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Emir (ruler) of Dubai. His father is the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, and crowned him the prince in 2008. Though he is the second son and has an older brother, he tragically died of a heart attack in 2013. Fun fact: he is an published poet and photographer so he will make you swoon.
5 Prince Haji Abdul Azim of Brunei - The Free-Spending Baller
Brunei is a tiny little nation island country located on top of Malaysia located on the island of Borneo. It is surrounded by Malaysia and the South China Sea. Prince Haji Abdul Azim of Brunei of Brunei is one of the richest royal family members in all of Asia. He is known for throwing lavish parties all around the world and paying celebrities ridiculous sums of money just to show up. He is the second born prince of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and fourth in line to the throne. At his London New Year's Eve party in 2013, he paid Lindsay Lohan a cool $100,000 just to show up. It is safe to say that this single 35-year-old prince is a baller and a generous one at that. How cool would it be to be Mrs. Prince Haji Abdul Azim, aka the Potential Future Sultan? It has a nice ring to it.
4 Prince Albert of Thurn and Taxis (Germany) - The Youngest Royal Billionaire
This single German aristocrat by the name of Prince Albert is the 12th Prince of Thurn and Taxis (which is basically a house nobility that inhabits Germany and is an ancient state of the Holy Roman Empire dating back to 1595). Prince Albert is one of those dudes that can really rock that bald look a la Vin Diesel or Jason Statham. As if that alone is not enough, he has been listed as a billionaire since the age of 8 after his father's death in 1990. He is also an avid race car driver and tours around the world with the German league. He is the only son of Princess Gloria and the late Johannes of Thurn and Taxis so he is indeed the golden boy standing next to his two older sisters. *Drumroll* This 34-year-old billionaire prince is still single. Line up, ladies.
3 King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan - Peacocking with Colors
Bhutan is known to be a picturesque, remote location where the colors are vibrant and the vibes in the air are nothing short of magical. Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck is the king of the nation of Bhutan which is a democratic, constitutional monarchy as of 2008. Just like the United Kingdom, Bhutan's king serves as the head of state, while the prime minister oversees the government. In other words, royalty is treated as symbols of the government, not heads of power. What makes him so memorable is that he oversaw the country's final stages toward a full democracy in 2008. He and his wife, Queen Pema share a one and a half year old son, Dragon Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck. So far their son is the only heir to the throne after him.
2 Leruo Molotlegi, King of the Royal Bafokeng Nation - The Richest African Kingdom
His full name is King Kgosi Leruo Tshekedi Molotlegi and he is the king of the Royal Bafokeng Nation which is located in the Northwest Province of the Republic of South Africa. Unlike the other royal eligible bachelors on this list, he is an actual king; not a prince, not a duke but the real deal. He has been the king for a whooping 17 years since 2000 and doesn't show signs of stepping down from his throne any time soon. Though many believe that Africa is a third-world continent, this dude is loaded (and that is an understatement). In 2010, he was behind the donations for the training facilities that were used by England's World Cup squad. The Bafokeng Nation is between Johannesburg and the gambling resort of the Sun City so that makes for some lucrative gambling money. King (or Kgosi) Leruo Molotlegi is the reason that the province is Africa's wealthiest tribal kingdom.
1 Prince Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg - Off the Market Unfortunately
Just like any other heir to the throne, Prince Guillame is the eldest son. He was deemed the heir and first in line to the throne in 2000 after his father, Grand Duke Henri's ascension to the throne. He married Belgian-born Countess Stephanie de Lannoy in 2012 that was a 2-day event and considered on of the most lavish events in the country's history. It was even described as the "largest event in decades." Over those days, celebrations included fireworks, concerts and street fairs. It looks like this tiny country of Luxembourg takes their royalty seriously. Prince Guillame is a well-educated man and holds degrees in political science, philosophy and anthropology. He studied not only in Luxembourg but Switzerland and England as well and speaks five languages: Luxembourgish, German, French, Spanish and of course, English.
