Sometimes a TV show comes along and totally captures the hearts and attention of literally everyone. Last year, one of those shows was Riverdale, the TV adaptation of the infamous Archie comics. It wasn't possible to not tune into the show at least once, and chances are, we were all hooked from the very first episode. And then we spent a lot of time getting our best friends into it. It's definitely a show that we want to watch and then talk to people about. It's an experience for sure. Now that season two is starting, we're the happiest.

According to a story on Fame 10, Lili is a huge fan of Halloween and super elaborate makeup. And we can see why she loves it so much: she is incredible at it. Whoa. We are really, really impressed.
Lili has said that she's not big on wearing tons of beauty products in her daily life, but when it comes to this spooky holiday, she's totally on board. She started getting into it a couple of years ago and now it's just something that she does. It's really cool when someone has such a quirky, unique hobby. It just makes us love them even more and we definitely love Lili. Can she do our makeup this Halloween? We think that would be the best thing ever.
14 She's Roomies With Madelaine Petsch
Not only is Lili best friends with Camila Mendes, but she and Madelaine Petsch are also super close. In fact, the two actresses are actually roommates while they film the show.
We love hearing stories about famous people who live together. It just sounds like so much fun. We wish that we could head over to their place and have a girls' night in and then we could ask all the questions that we want about Cole Sprouse and KJ Apa. When Lili was interviewed by The Coveteur, she said of a show that she really enjoys, “Yes, American Horror Story, to be honest. I'm such a big Ryan Murphy fan. I grew up watching/being obsessed with Glee, which is funny because Roberto [Aguirre-Sacasa], our showrunner, worked on Glee… But basically American Horror Story ignited the fandom girl inside me.”
Since we love this show too, this is just more proof that we are meant to be besties with Lili. We just knew it and now we're even more certain. It's always fun to see what TV shows stars are into. It's surprising when we find out that they love something that we love even though, of course, these shows have huge audiences so it only makes sense.
12 She's Not Into The Celebrity Thing
Lots of people call Lili "down to earth" and that honestly makes us breathe a massive sigh of relief. We don't even know what we would do if we learned that she was actually super stuck-up and conceited. Thankfully, that's not the case, so we don't even have to worry about it. Phew.
There is nothing worse than people who think that they are the best ever just because they happen to be famous or starring on a TV show. It's like, we get it, you're beautiful and rich and successful, but you don't have to be such a jerk about it. But that's totally not Lili. It seems like she's still wrapping her head around the whole fame thing and that she doesn't see herself that way.
11 She Really Hoped The Cast Would Be Close
Lili has said that she hoped that she and her costars would get along, and it seems like she has gotten her wish. It's hard to think of a cast that loves each other more than the Riverdale cast.
Whether they are posting adorable selfies or Cole is taking beautiful photos of them out in nature, it's clear that these stars really do get along when the cameras aren't turned on. Even though Betty is Lili's first big role, that doesn't mean that she never acted before. She's been acting since she was ten years old.
Ever since she turned ten, she was super into all kinds of creative pursuits from acting to dancing and singing. It seems like she always knew that she wanted to have an acting career and she was very determined and passionate from a young age. We love hearing those kinds of stories, right? There's nothing better than seeing someone who cares deeply about something and is truly committed to it and then gets their dream. That's honestly what everyone wants. It's a cool story that fills us with hope and optimism. Sure, it might be interesting if Lili had literally decided to start acting last year and then her first job was Riverdale, but the fact that she had the acting chops from a young age is really cool.

It's hard to believe that Lili hasn't had a starring role on a television show or in a movie when we see how good she is. She's honestly an amazing actress and it seems like she's been acting for decades. But Betty Cooper is actually her very first major role.
The cool thing about Lili is that she's got an old-fashioned, old soul quality about her. She seems very peaceful and confident and she's a very classy person. We really like that. We're sure that this is only the beginning of what is sure to be an incredible career and we can't wait to see where her dreams and talent take her next… but we definitely want 100 more seasons of Riverdale. That's not too much to ask, is it?!

Lili was born in Cleveland, Ohio and she sometimes mentions her hometown on her Instagram account. When she turned 20 in September 2016, she posted a throwback photo of her as a kid wearing a Cleveland sweatshirt and said, "Been on this earth for 2 decades. So here's a childhood pic to celebrate ❤️ representing my hometown forever and always!"
It's nice to hear that Lili still talks about her hometown with love and respect. So many people leave the place that they come from and sometimes people even want to pretend like they never even lived there. Sometimes that makes sense, but for the most part, we all come from somewhere and there's really nothing to be ashamed of. It's a natural part of life to grow up and move away but still love the place that we will always call home.

Lili is a huge animal lover and it seems like she has a special place in her heart for dogs. There are a lot of photos of her with dogs (aka the cutest dogs ever) on her Instagram account, like this one from the summer of 2016.
Our hearts just melt when we see Lili holding a dog. We can't help it. It just happens. We can just tell that she's a really sweet, pure, good-hearted person and that she truly cares about animals. She's not doing this for good PR or attention or anything like that. Nope. She's a genuine person and just wants to be herself. We really have to respect an actress who is like that since, let's be honest here, not everyone can do that. So many people are caught up in the whole Hollywood thing. Not Lili.
6 She Wondered If Acting Would Work Out
Yup, Lili wondered if she should stop trying to get an acting job. It sounded like a very stressful time for her. When she was 18, she headed to L.A. like a lot of young people do when they have a dream and especially when they feel like Hollywood is calling their name.
Lili was there for five months and things weren't working out the way that she had thought. It was a tough time for her. We can all relate to not being sure if our dreams are worth following or if things are going to work out, right? It's a pretty relatable late teens/twentysomething thing. Lili went back home to Cleveland, but… there was a happy ending since now she's Betty Cooper and having the best time ever.

4 She And Her Mom Are Super Close
When Lili was interviewed by Teen Vogue once, she said, "My mom is like my best friend. And I tell her everything and we're extremely close." If any of us are super close with our moms and have a total Rory/Lorelai thing going on, then we can relate, and it's nice to know that we have something in common with Lili. We totally knew that we could be friends. Now we have even more evidence.
It sounds like Lili's mom is one of her biggest fans, supporters, and cheerleaders, especially since she drove Lili to NYC to go to auditions back when Lili was in high school. She must be so proud of Lili. We can only imagine how she must tell everyone about her amazing daughter who is now Betty Cooper.
3 She Cares About Mental Health
Lili has struggled with anxiety and depression and is a big supporter of mental health issues. She cares deeply about this subject and is never shy about discussing it publicly, which is really inspiring.
Lili went to therapy and told Glamour in an interview, "I was very proactive. It makes me feel stronger to be able to say that I was able to seek help when I knew that I needed it and not just suffer in silence." It's good to see someone who is so famous and so successful admitting that they went through a rough time and needed help. There is nothing wrong with getting help and admitting that. It's the best thing that you can do for yourself. We're glad that stars like Lili are sharing their own stories.

Since Lili started singing and dancing around the age of ten, it only makes sense that these days, she is still dreaming of those things. She has shared in some interviews that she wants to make it to Broadway.
We think that this would be an absolutely amazing thing. Our fingers are totally crossed for her. We think that it could happen. After all, if she's as good at dancing and singing as she is at acting, then we just know that she would be awesome. We honestly don't see why this wouldn't happen for her.
