Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds look like they are the happiest and the most fun couple in Hollywood. They are always joking and trolling each other on social media. Each has a great sense of humor and both do not mind being self-deprecating. But behind closed doors, Blake admits that things aren't always what they seem. She's even slammed rumors that she has a fairytale romance with husband, Ryan Reynolds, “It's nonsense," she said in an interview. Plus Ryan is always away from their NY home for work while Blake stays behind with the kids, which could cause some tension in their 'perfect' relationship.

And while the couple may have known each other since 2010, they were both still in relationships with other people. They friend zoned each other for a year before dating. 15 Ryan Met Blake While He Was Still Married

Ryan and Blake met while on the set of their movie, Green Lantern. The movie may have been a box office mess, but the duo sure made an impact on each other. During the filming of the movie, Ryan was still married to Scarlett Johansson when he filmed the movie in the summer of 2010.

Now we don't think they hookup during the movie but we do think that they left an impression on each other which led to a romance in 2011 after they promoted the movie for a few months.

Ryan went on to separate from Scarlett in late 2010 and divorce in 2011. We don't think this was a full Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt kind of situation. But Ryan and Blake definitely had sparks even though he was married at the time.

14 Blake Wants To Live In NY

Blake and Ryan bought a beautiful home in Westchester NY after they got married in 2012. The duo wanted a quiet home life away from the New York City noise although they also have an apartment in the city. The spent a whopping $5 million for their sprawling estate with an 8,000-square-foot mansion, but are they ever there together. The couple was said to be a staple in the community after they purchased the home and Martha Stewart is even a neighbor, but with their business dealings in NYC or California, it seems like the pair are never there too long at the same time. They chose the NYC suburb to live in due to its proximity to the city but it may be a little too far away for people who live such a busy and public lifestyle. It appears like Blake is spotted around town way more than her busy husband.

Ryan is never at his NY home. The actor and his wife Blake may have bought the quintessential suburban home, but he basically lives on the set. Ryan is always working. 12 Blake Once Called Ryan Her 'Buddy'

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been married almost six years, but it may have stung Ryan to be called Blake's 'buddy.' It's not uncommon that partners call each other best friends. But Blake may have gone a few notches lower when she called Ryan her buddy.

“In other relationships, if something came up, I would call my girlfriends or my sister, and say, 'Hey, this is what he did-what should I do?' Before marrying Ryan Reynolds, Blake famously dated her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley from about 2007 before it ended sometime in 2010 although their timeline is a little grainy since they played on-screen loves before taking their love off screen.
