10 Reasons Khloe Is Perfect For Motherhood And 10 That Show She Might Not Be Ready

Days before Christmas last year, Khloe Kardashian shared with the world that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend and NBA star Tristan Thompson. The couple who have been dating for almost 24 months are due to have their baby girl any day now.

Khloe really didn't see the pregnancy coming as she shared with YOU magazine earlier last night, "I definitely want a family, but I don't feel any pressure. Tristan is a great dad and he definitely wants more children, but we both feel that it will happen when the time is right. We're still in a new relationship and I love us having time together."

Adding, "Once you have kids you can't get back your non-kid years. You worry about your children for the rest of your life. The concern I have is raising little human beings in a world that's filled with such hate and terror. That seems very scary."

If that interview was anything to go by, it appears she wanted children but was really anxious about becoming a mother for the first time. Now she's only a matter of days away from giving birth, it's time to see if she's really ready for motherhood or if this has all come too soon for her.

20 Ready: She's Not Going To Be A Regular Mom - She's A Cool Mom

Khloe is already the coolest auntie to Kourtney's kids Mason, Penelope, and Reign, 3; Kim's North, Saint, and newborn Chicago; Rob's 1-year-old daughter Dream; and Kylie's newborn, Stormi. It's safe to say she has had plenty of practice with looking after kids and it's obvious from episodes of KUWTK that they love spending time with their "Auntie KoKo."

Three years ago, she wrote on her website, "I love everything about being an aunt. My nieces and nephews come to my house at least three times a week." She added, "I'm just really playful and I guess you could say I'm the 'wild aunt.' But honestly, I like that they view me like that.” This just proves that she is going to be the coolest mom ever.

19 Not Ready: She's Always Attracting Men That Are Attached To Drama

Khloe's first husband Lamar Odom appeared as her perfect match at the beginning of the relationship, but over time his demons got the best of him. In 2015, he was discovered unconscious at the Love Ranch just outside of Las Vegas and luckily managed to get to a hospital where he "cheated death." The couple couldn't work it out and eventually divorced in 2016.

Tristan also comes with a past and that involves his ex-girlfriend, Instagram model Jordan Craig, and the 1-year-old son named Prince they share together. According to the radio show Z Hip Hop Cleveland, "(Tristan) allegedly left his girlfriend Jordan Craig for Khloe, but it was (loosely) kept under wraps Jordan is expecting, until (the birth)." Nothing is ever drama free when the Kardashians are around.

18 Ready: Pregnancy Is Something She Has Always Dreamed Of

After weeks of speculation, Khloe finally announced her pregnancy on Instagram to her 74 million followers with an intimate picture of Tristran cradling her growing baby bump. In the emotional post, she wrote, "My greatest dream realized!' We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can't believe that our love created life!"

She was so determined to have her own child that she even thought about following in the footsteps of Kim and having a surrogate. She told talk show host Lorraine on ITV, "I thought about (surrogacy) at one point then it just didn't cross my mind, so when I got pregnant I was so surprised."

17 Not Ready: But Did She Rush In With Tristan Too Soon?

Khloe and Tristan made their relationship Instagram official in September 2016 when she shared a photo of them wearing matching rings. She also confirmed to chat show host Jimmy Kimmel, "I live here, but I'm (in Cleveland with Tristan) very often. I actually really like it. I like just having my routine and being a little more under the radar. It's nice."

Her comments came just one month before Tristan's ex-girlfriend, Jordan Craig, gave birth to their son. Then less than a year later, Khloe and Tristan shared that they were expecting a baby of their own. It might all be a little too soon and too much for the couple. Even Kim had her doubts, as she commented on an episode of KUWTK, "He's a little young."

16 Ready: She Has The Full Support Of Her Sisters

Khloe has a huge support network around her - her sisters (with the exception of Kendal who is still child-free) and Rob are all now raising children on their own), she has the love of her mother, Kris, and also Tristan's family will help out with the diapers in Cleveland. Even though Khloe is a 5-hour flight away from her family, they have enough private jets between them to make it work.

She wrote on her website, "They say it takes a village to raise a child - that couldn't be truer. We all have so much fun helping raise each other's kids." When Khloe revealed the news to her family on KUWTK, Kris sobbed, "Hearing this news is the most special thing I think anyone can ever tell me. I'm ecstatically surprised."

15 Not Ready: She Might Be Under Too Much Pressure To Lose The Baby Weight

The pregnancy cravings are already strong for Khloe as she revealed to People magazine that she "gives in" to them too easy. Her younger sister Kylie packed on 60 pounds during her pregnancy but Khloe isn't so keen to let her weight go up again. It's likely she's worried about her family commenting on her post-baby body.

During her E! Show Revenge Body, Khloe revealed her family had pressured her to "lose weight" because she was "hurting the brand." She shockingly spilled, "(They said) Khloé, you got to lose weight 'cause you're really hurting the brand. I'm a huge believer in it's not what you say, it's how you say it… I understand that was coming from my management side of my family, but it does hurt."

14 Ready: Her Pregnancy Style Proves She Was Made For This

When it comes to pregnancy style, Khloe had two of the most stylish women to look up to - her sisters Kim Kourtney, and Kylie. They were her go-to fashion gurus who what to wear when you're expecting. Khloe's bump is much different to her sisters as the baby sits quite high and (maybe as a nod to her athlete baby daddy) is more of a basketball shape than a "half watermelon".

Khloe wrote on her website, "I've mentioned how much of a challenge it's been to dress my bump. Thankfully, Kim, Kourtney and Kylie have been there to show me how it's done." She said which were her favorite pieces, revealing, "A jumpsuit might not be the most convenient choice for a pregnant lady (frequent pee breaks!), but Kourt looked damn good! I knew I needed to follow her lead. Kim's silk dress/red lip combo was major inspo."

13 Not Ready: She Is Already Unhappy With Having A Girl

On an episode of KUWTK, Khloe stressed just how unhappy she was with having a baby girl as her heart was set on this pregnancy being a boy. She explained, "When you have your mind made up as to what you're having… everyone told me you're going to feel what you're having and you'll just kind of know. And then when you find out it's the complete opposite, it's just a shock."

Kim stepped in and told her sister, "It's OK, I cried when I found out North was going to be a girl too.” Khloe then appeared to look the bright side of having a girl when she later tweeted, "I am now so excited my daughter will have forever best friends with Chicago and Stormi!! God is great!!! Thank you Lord for our princess."

12 Ready: Her Brand Is So Succesful She Can Take All The Time Off She Needs

Khloe's Good American jeans come with “corset slimming elasticity” that can make your booty look better when you wear them - she's basically a genius. It's no wonder her jeans, which retail at $169, sold out twice over on its own website and at Nordstrom just one hour after launching pushing sales past the $1 million mark on its first day alone. With things going so well, she can kick back and enjoy motherhood as the business soars.

Even Tristan was behind her managing motherhood and her business, as Khloe revealed to Entertainment Tonight, "(Tristan) said, 'I want to have kids with you, (and) if you get pregnant, you could make maternity jeans for (your clothing line) Good American." Even he is starting to think about the benefits of the Kardashian empire too.

11 Not Ready: Her Parenting Idol Is Momager Kris Jenner

When Kris turned 62-years-old, Khloe wished her a Happy Birthday on Instagram with a post that read, "My greatest wish is to grow up and be as fantastic a mother as you have been to us!" Not many people would agree with Kris being Khloe's parenting idol as she's had a lot of criticism over capitalizing on the children in the family.

In her 2011 autobiography, Kris wrote, "I would think to myself, 'How can I take these fifteen minutes of fame and turn them into thirty? I started to look at our careers like pieces on a chessboard. It was very calculated. My business decisions and strategies were very intentional, definite and planned to the nth degree.” Kris knows how to make it in showbiz for sure - but at what cost?

10 Ready: She's Already Proven How Fiercely Protective She Is

Everyone already knows Khloe is not a woman to be messed with and she proved that even during her pregnancy she's no punching bag for the trolls online. Critics put her on blast because she is always seen cradling her bump in every photo which really is a new one trolls have chosen to attack her for.

Khloe hit back on Twitter, "People are very opinionated about my bump. I choose to cradle my bump because it's MINE. I've waited for this VERY short moment for YEARS. I have only months to enjoy this phase in my life, so I will touch my bump and love my bump as often as I choose. Mommy loves you baby!" Nobody is coming for Khloe or her baby online without them feeling her wrath.

9 Not Ready: Did She Really Drink Champagne When Pregnant?

During the KUWTK 10th Anniversary Special, Khloe had not yet announced her pregnancy but fans were quick to return to the show and question why she was sipping on champagne. One fan commented, "Hold on. You're three months pregnant and sipping on champagne?" and another added, "I wonder if she knew she was pregnant then?" Khloe has been known for her wild nights out and love of partying but will she be willing to give this all up for her future child?

Another fan speculated, "She was probably holding that drink so nobody would suspect she was pregnant." Khloe did take a sip of the drink and then spat, "Oh f***" which led most people to believe she simply forgot she was not supposed to be touching alcohol.

8 Ready: This Could Be Her Last Chance To Start A Family

When Khloe visited a fertility doctor, she was shocked and devastated to learn that her chances of conceiving were very low because she had fewer follicles in her uterus than most women. During an episode of KUWTK, she cries, "Shut the f*** up. This is definitely not at all how I thought this appointment was going to go. What if I can't get pregnant?"

Even with the added pressure, she told the cameras, "I would love to have a family (with Tristan). We've talked about it. He is a father, and I know for a fact that he would be an impeccable father. I definitely want to be a mom. But I don't put the pressure on it. It's not like, the clock is ticking. I feel in my soul it will happen." In the end, she was right and it was just a waiting game.

7 Not Ready: She's Ditching Her Closest Friends When She Needs Them The Most

Since the beginning, Khloe and Milka have been ride or die BFFs. Then everything started to change when Khloe first started dating Tristan all she wanted to do was spend time on double dates and never just with Malika. In one KUWTK episode, Malika said, "We don't spend a lot of Malika and Khloe time. We spend a lot of Malika, Khloe and the guy time." Khloe admitted, "I do love the boys. I do have a great relationship with them, but it's not our relationship."

Speaking of Khloe's dramatic move to Cleveland, Malika added, "It is a bit of a strain. I don't wanna blame you because you moved. That's so childish. But I think it's hard. You and I, we went from seeing each other how many days a week to seeing each other every other month." Hopefully, the girls work it out between them for when the baby arrives and Khloe will need all the support she can get.

6 Ready: Unlike Kim - She Won't Wear Stilettos During Pregnancy

Kim was not ready to give up her stilettos during her pregnancy until the very end when her swollen feet were almost impossible to squeeze into her designer heels. She told the Vogue podcast, "My feet are starting to swell." She shared a shocking photo on Instagram that showed just how much her heels were digging into her feet, it looked like she had been permanently scarred by her fashion choice.

Khloe, on the other hand, has kept her pregnancy style very low key and instead opted for her Yeezy sneakers - no guesses who would have gifted her these. Speaking about advice from her family, she told Entertainment Tonight, "(I got) a lot (of advice from my sisters). Too much. I've gotten to the point… I'm like, 'OK, shut the f*** up and take your own advice."

5 Not Ready: It's Been Said That This Is All Costing Tristan His Career

When one fan said what all other Cleveland Cavaliers had on their mind - he had Khloe's sharp tongue to deal with. The Twitter user wrote, "Cavs haven't been playing too well since @KhloeKardashian. Just saying." His first mistake was dissing the team and the second was tagging Khloe in the post."

Khloe was not having it and she hit back with an x-rated tweet that read, "They are #1 in their conference but thanks 4 s****** my d*** hard enough (to) think I have that much power. **** on my b**** while you're at it." The fan was probably trying to steer his point towards the 'Kardashian curse' which allegedly haunts all the men that become involved with the Kardashian family including Scott Disick and Lamar Odom.

4 Ready: She's The Healthiest She Has Ever Been In Her Life

Khloe has turned herself around from being "the chubby one" in the Kardashians to the one with the hottest body following an intense fitness regime. Now she's spending her pregnancy looking back on her old workout videos and admiring how great of a shape she was in. She told her Twitter fans, "After the baby comes, I'm going to work off every pound. I'm actually really excited to get my body back. I can't wait! Now I am googling images of my pre-pregnancy body and I'm feigning to get back to my workouts and old body. Holy cow."

Although there are some benefits of being previously overweight as she added, "I feel like I've always had cellulite but it's way more prominent at the moment. So far no stretch marks. So I'm happy about that the perks of being chubby previously. Lol my tummy knows how to stretch."

3 Not Ready: The Baby Was A Surprise And She Told Him Over FaceTime

The baby was such a surprise, Khloe had to announce the news to her baby daddy over FaceTime. She wrote on her website, "Tristan was the one who kept telling me, 'I think you're pregnant!' He was leaving town to go back to Toronto and I went to get a pregnancy test. I actually had to FaceTime him to tell him. I was nervous and he was so excited!" It was clear they were both trying but Khloe didn't believe pregnancy was possible for her due to her fertility issues.

She revealed that the athlete was delighted for her. Adding, "I'm so blessed that Tristan has been beyond supportive! He's helped me overcome any fear or anxiety that I have! He's always so reassuring and confident about everything when it comes to our baby."

2 Ready: She Believes Tristan Is The Perfect Father For Her Baby

During their marriage, Lamar always wanted a baby with Khloe but she revealed she had lied about fertility treatments because she knew he wasn't the right baby daddy for her. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she explained, "When I was doing my fertility treatments, they were more so for Lamar. I had to stop because there was much deeper stuff that was happening in our marriage."

She added, "I knew that it wasn't the right situation to bring a child into, and I think I've done a lot of covering up for him, like, even when it made me look like I was the problem." She has since said that Tristan is going to be the "perfect father" and he was clearly a man worth waiting for.

1 Not Ready: She Already Has Fears About The End Of Her Pregnancy

Khloe had a tough time with morning sickness and just generally feeling unwell at the start of her pregnancy and now she's not looking forward to the end either. She spoke with YOU magazine and shared, "The very beginning (of pregnancy) is challenging because you feel so out-of-place. I think you're the sickest and no one knows you're pregnant. I'm not sure what the end is going to be like."

It's unknown exactly how far gone in her pregnancy Khloe is but according to her Instagram timeline, she is only a couple of weeks away from her due date. She told her Twitter fans, "I can't wait to meet my baby girl! I often think about what she'll look like and what her little personality will be like. She'll be the perfect mix of me and Tristan-which is such a crazy thought, LOL."
