Feminine Energy How to Embrace It, Release It and Increase It
There's always that one woman that walks into a room and embodies feminine energy. You too hold that energy inside of you, you just need to release it.
Everyone has a masculine and feminine side. If someone tells you to be a man, tell them to fuck off because what they say is garbage. As humans, we're given both sides which is what makes us who we are. But what does it mean to have feminine energy?
How to embrace your feminine energy
Women are gentle and compassionate, yet, they're also feisty and assertive. Men are masculine and domineering, yet, at the same time emotional and lighthearted. Do you see what I mean? Of course, some people are more feminine or masculine than others, but they still have those other qualities as well.
See, your masculine side is the side people see when you work or are focused on accomplishing a goal. It's the side that pushes you forward. Whereas your feminine side is what people see when you enjoy life and the moments within it. Your feminine side is your playfulness. The side which allows you to express art and energy.
But for some of us, it's locked inside of us, unable to release itself. So, you work on that and create a balance between both sides. We all have feminine energy, we just don't know how to use it.
#1 Feminine energy likes to “be.” This may sound weird, but let me explain. Masculine energy is the go-getter inside of you, it's what pushes you through life. However, feminine energy is natural. It's not motivated by power or fame. In order to embrace your feminine side, you need to be able to differentiate between the two.
#2 Connect with yourself. This sounds a little hippie, I know, but it's actually essential when you find the balance between your masculine and feminine side. How will you know you are imbalanced if you're not connected and reflecting with yourself?
Don't be shy. Explore your feelings and desires on both sides. If you have a problem doing this on your own because it is hard, a therapist will help you to explore yourself.
#3 Tap into your creativity. Your feminine side is what allows you to express your emotions and be artistic. You don't need to become Michelangelo, but you should try to express yourself either through dance, writing, painting, sculpting. The point is, create in order to release your feminine energy.
#4 Go pantless. When you're at home, take off those pants… I'm serious. Feminine energy is about movement and freedom. If you wear pants, you restrict yourself. If you're a guy, walk around your house in boxers. As a woman, try to wear more dresses and free-flowing outfits. You'll feel freer, less constricted, which is exactly what you should feel.
#5 Get lost in your senses. Masculine energy is consumed by thought, which at times you need. However, feminine energy is all about losing yourself in your senses. Go to a public market and take in all the colors, go to a pastry shop and lose yourself while eating a piece of chocolate cake. The point is to remove yourself from your head and live in the moment, connecting to your body.
#6 Be open to receive love and affection. I don't mean this simply in a sexual way. Of course, you should be open to sharing an intimate connection with someone through sex, but that isn't the only way. Have you ever just stared at someone, looking them in the eyes for 30 seconds? It's powerful. Be open to vulnerability and receive someone's love.
#7 Have more orgasms. Yes, you heard right. If you're a man, you have them more frequently than a woman, so that shouldn't be a huge problem for you. If you're a woman, listen up. You need to connect with yourself sexually. This means having more orgasms, whether you're with a partner or on your own.
#8 Force yourself to embrace your feminine side. You're going to fight it, trust me. It's a lot easier to embrace your masculine side because that means you don't connect with yourself emotionally. But listen, you need to push yourself through this obstacle. Feel vulnerable and scared because feminine energy forces you to change.
#9 Give yourself a day just for you. If you can't give yourself an entire day, then at least schedule yourself a couple hours of “you” time. Don't make any plans during that time. Instead, just do whatever you want that makes you feel good in that moment. Let your feminine energy flow you through those hours. Just stay away from social media or texting your friends-this time is for you.
#10 Dance. You don't have to go to a club to do this. Just turn on the radio at home or put on a YouTube playlist and go for it. Dancing is an amazing method which helps in getting you out of your head and into your body. It's going to feel strange if you've never done this before but after a couple songs *just make sure they're good ones* you'll feel light and free-flowing.
#11 Try spontaneity. We don't really appreciate time. Of course, we're happy when we have a day off but most of us use it to buy groceries or clean our bathrooms. Screw that. Instead, when you have a day off, try something spontaneous. Go to a festival, a mini-vacation, go see a movie-do things you normally wouldn't do in your spare time.
#12 Be emotional. But really, be emotional. I know that many of you see it as a sign of weakness which is why everyone wants to appear masculine. But the thing is, everyone's emotional. Write in a journal, cry. Whatever you need to do to understand your emotional process, do it.
Now that you know how to release and embrace your feminine energy, it's time you started the balancing act. Of course, it's going to be a challenge at first, but it'll be worth it.
