Selena Gomez is one celebrity who is literally hounded by the press. At one point, the pressures of the industry became too much for her, and she was forced to take a break and remove herself from the public eye. We all skip out on shaving from time to time, but at our hairy armpits aren't making headlines, right? For Selena, her underarms, in all their hairy glory, were plastered all over gossip websites as soon as this photo was taken. The singer and actress was promoting her movie Spring Breakers, and when she stopped to take a photograph with her fan, she exposed a bit of stubble in her armpits.

Perhaps she was too busy traveling and promoting the movie to tend to her normal grooming habits. I'm definitely not going to fault her for slacking on the upkeep because we're all mammals, and mammals are supposed to have hair, so what's the big deal?! In this photo, Selena's proving that she's just like the rest of us, and even with her unshaved pits, she's still technically flawless. On top of that, she's very sweet to her fans. You just can't beat that.

14 Horrible Outfit

We've all worn outfits that we later regretted. But thankfully, we're able to burn those photos, delete them from our Facebook photo albums, and pretend they never even existed. But for celebrities, all of their unflattering outfits are saved online for eternity.

This particular outfit has us really scratching our heads. Selena's normally such a fashionista, so I'm finding it pretty unbelievable that she actually thought this outfit was a good look. There was a point in time when wide belts were all the rage in the fashion community, and girls were wearing the accessory above their natural waist. I'm not going to rag on Selena's belt, but it's the shirt that she paired with it that's confusing. These belts looked much better when worn with a cute dress, not a T-shirt! And don't get me started on her tights. I'm just going to pretend like I didn't even see them.

13 Wardrobe Malfunction

Yikes. This photo is pretty bad. Like, really bad.

Selena was performing in front of a packed crowd, and she was wearing a beautiful black and yellow dress for the occasion. The singer loves to wear gowns that have revealing thigh-high slits, so it was really no surprise that she chose this particular dress for her onstage wardrobe. But perhaps Selena should ditch the revealing dresses when it comes time to perform because this wardrobe malfunction could have easily been avoided if her split wasn't so revealing, and if the front of her dress was just a tad bit longer.

While bouncing around onstage, Selena completely exposed herself to the crowd. Thankfully she was wearing a pair of nude undergarments underneath the gown, but that doesn't change the fact that this photo is super unflattering, and I'm pretty sure Selena wishes this moment could be wiped away from our memories forever.

I've got to hand it to her. Selena seems like she has a drawer full of nude-colored undergarments that are perfect for any and every occasion. I only wish her unmentionables would stay hidden.

Once again, the singer gave fans a little more than they bargained for during one of her concert performances. Dressed in a beautiful pink, sparkly gown, the singer belted out some of her most popular tunes in front of a packed venue. But apparently, someone cranked up a fan a bit too high, and Selena's "Beyonce wind through the hair" moment was totally ruined when her minidress flew up, exposing a pair of nude Spanx. Sooo embarrassing!

I'm not even sure why she was wearing Spanx to begin with. She's toned and in shape. What could she possibly be trying to suck in? Either way, this is just one of those moments that probably left Selena mortified, and I don't blame her. I would be hiding under a rock if this happened to me!

11 Losing Her Cool

I'm not too sure what's really going on in this photo, but all I know is it is equal parts hilarious and traumatizing. Selena is putting on yet another jaw-dropping performance, and this photo captured her at the worst moment possible. Her hair is wild and untamed, and the expression on her face is literally killing me. She has the look of crazy in her eyes. I imagine this is the look Selena makes when she receives back-to-back drunk calls from Justin Bieber in the middle of the night. It's like the perfect "WTF is going on?!" face.

This is definitely one of Selena's worst photos ever taken, and I'm pretty sure if she could get this picture taken off the Internet forever, she would. There are some pictures that should just never see the light of day, and this photo is one of them for sure.

10 Boob Sweat

All girls know the struggle of having a bit of boob sweat during the hot summer months. For whatever reason, sweat loves to accumulate right underneath our girls, and it leaves some unsightly stains that can make our #OOTD go from fleeky to stinky almost instantly.

Selena showed us that boob sweat is nothing to be ashamed of, but we still can't help but to LOL at this photo. The singer took a stroll around town in a form-fitting tank top, and her underboob sweat was totally noticeable. On top of that, it looks like she has a bit of sweat around her navel, too.

The guy behind her is dressed in shorts, so it must've been a pretty hot day. Maybe Selena should've taken off her sweater to let her girls get some much-needed ventilation. We're pretty sure that would've solved this problem. Her sweat would've dried up within minutes, and this photo would've never happened. Oh well, live and learn, Selena!

9 Who Wears Short Shorts

Normally I'm a fan of most of Selena's looks, but this next outfit left me completely puzzled.

Short shorts are a summertime staple, and when it comes to fashion in hot weather, the shorter the shorts the better. But when wearing teeny-tiny shorts, a little bit of decorum is still a must, but apparently, Selena didn't get the memo.

The singer stepped out wearing the tiniest shorts I've ever seen. They were so small, her rear was practically hanging out of them. She could've worn her underwear or a bathing suit bottom if that's the look she was going for, but there's just something about showing off your cheeks in public that screams "tacky."

I'm not sure if Selena regrets this photo, but if she doesn't, she should! This is an outfit that should've never seen the light of day! Let's just hope nothing compels her to wear these Daisy Dukes ever again.

Selena, the Biebs and Drake ended up on stage together, and when Selena moved in to give Bieber a hug, he was totally staring right down her shirt! The photo captures the exact moment as his eyes are peering into her cleavage, and Selena is clueless as to what's really going on. She is just standing there smiling at the audience while Justin is completely undressing her with his eyes. To make matters even worse, as Justin is staring down her shirt, he has another woman's face plastered on his T-shirt!

Despite the whole creepiness of this photo, Selena looks beautiful with her ringlet curls and her bright red lipstick, don't you agree?

7 Growing Pains

We all go through that super awkward stage in our lives. This typically occurs during the onset of puberty, and it lasts a few years before we kick our ugly phase in the butt and reemerge as a beautiful swan.

For us regular people, we can go through puberty behind closed doors, and when our parents try to force us to take a photograph, we can easily run and hide in our bedrooms. But for Selena, the paparazzi has been taking pictures of her for years so there was no way for her to escape from having this photo taken. She looks a lot like how she looks today so it's not like she went under some huge transformation. Her glow up has been subtle because she was always very beautiful even when she was a young child. Selena definitely wasn't anywhere near ugly during her awkward stage in life, but we still think this is one of the photos she would never want anyone to see.

Here's another photo of Selena during that awkward stage of her life, but what makes this photo so cringeworthy is her companion. Selena and her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber went on a shopping spree, and while Selena is handling the changes of puberty like a boss, Justin is definitely struggling.

They look like two BFFs going for a stroll, and the look on Selena's face says it all. She definitely looks a bit embarrassed to be seen with Justin, while he's smiling at the camera like he just hit the jackpot. He's definitely more than happy to be seen with her, but we can't say the same about Selena.

Looking back at pictures you've taken with an ex can either cause you more heartache or it could make you gag in disgust. I'm not sure what emotion Selena feels when she sees this picture, but I'm pretty sure this is yet another picture she doesn't want the world to ever lay their eyes on ever again.

Sometimes you can't even be bothered to put on a decent outfit. You just want to throw on some sweats and a tank top and bum it for the entire day. For you and I, we could definitely get away with wearing this outfit out in public. Sure, we may get a few side eyes from strangers, but it's not like someone's going to take a photo of us in all our bummy glory and post it on every social media site known to man. Sadly for Selena, the paparazzi are following her 24/7, so unflattering shots like this picture are bound to happen at some point.

While out with a group of friends, the singer was snapped wearing a casual outfit. Her outfit is definitely a big difference from her onstage attire, and we don't expect her to be all dolled up at all hours of the day. We totally forgive her for stepping out in this 'fit, but you can tell she's completely embarrassed to be spotted. She's using her scarf to hide her face, but she's doing a pretty horrible job at going incognito.

3 Going Gothic

While performing at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball, Selena got all gothic on us in this interesting outfit that definitely should've stayed in her closet. The singer wore a red and black dress, along with a short brown wig. Her makeup was a lot different from her normal looks. Instead of donning her signature red lipstick, she went with a black shade and a smoky eye. We know she was dressing up to play the part, but we can't help but to scream "WTF!!" whenever we see this photo. It definitely isn't one of her best moments.

We think Selena should stick with what works: beautiful gowns, light eye makeup, red lips, and her beachy waves. This gothic look isn't ever going to work for her.

2 Showing Too Much

Selena is never afraid to throw on a risqué outfit and strut her stuff. She has the body to pull off almost any look, but sometimes, she goes a bit too far and shows off a bit too much. In this paparazzi photo, Selena steps out wearing a long button-up dress that could definitely double as a jacket. Her makeup is impeccable and her hair is flawless, but her outfit is a big fat NO!

Selena appears to be wearing nothing underneath the dress, except for her trusty nude underwear. She's just trying a little too hard, and instead of coming across as sexy, this look is a bit tacky. This is definitely one of those fashion blunders that needs to be erased from our memories forever. I'm sure if Selena could go back in time, she would probably opt for some pants or at least a pair of shorts. And a bralette to cover up her girls wouldn't hurt either.

Back when Selena and Justin were together, the couple headed out to a basketball game, and they were caught giving each other a big smooch. Again, Justin looks absolutely elated to be sitting next to Selena. Just look at the huge grin on his face. On the other hand, Selena looks absolutely petrified.
