50 Questions to Check if Someone's Right for You
Attraction is one thing, but compatibility is a whole other ballpark. Here are some things to ask your crush to see if they're right for you. By Charley Reid
It's safe to say that with the technology-driven world we live in, most of us are opting out of going out to a bar with our friends to hook up, and instead we now opt to go through the easier route: through social media.
When you do find someone that piques your interest, it usually instantly leads to you swapping phone numbers and texting or talking on the phone. Sometimes when texting, it can be a little awkward, and you feel like you don't have anything to say or you keep replying back with an emoji, because you're not sure what to say next.
One time, I had this crush on a guy who I thought was just so cute. He was tall, was really funny, or so I thought. In the beginning, we would text a lot, and I would try to ask him more personal questions here and there, but he would always text me with these witty comments and jokes, no matter what we were talking about, and to be honest, in the beginning I thought he was hilarious. Really, I did. They were the perfect blend of sarcasm, humor and intelligence.
But then I went on a few dates with him, and the one-liners never stopped, ever. At first, I thought he was just being cute and was nervous, but after a few dates, reality hit. It was literally impossible to have an actual conversation with this guy, and that's when I knew he wasn't right for me.
So, the next time you have a lull in your conversation, no matter if it's texting, talking on the phone, or in person, don't forget about yourself and what you want, no matter how many times the one you're flirting with might be making you laugh.
You should take time to find out more about them and who they really are. You should ask them the following 50 questions to find out if they are right for you. I don't mean text them all these questions at once, because you wouldn't want them to think you're interrogating them, right?
You need to make a conscious effort in getting to know your crush by asking these questions. And some of these might seem pretty basic, but I promise you they are all important in helping you figure out if they are worth your time, and if they are someone you can really see yourself dating.
